Men and women Olympic football tournament 2024 at Paris
The 2024 Summer Olympics’ football competition is scheduled to take place in France from July 24 to August 10, 2024. The drawing is scheduled for March 20, 2024, in Paris.
Matches will be held in Bordeaux, Décines-Charpieu (near Lyon), Marseille, Nantes, Nice, and Saint-Étienne in addition to Paris, the host city of the Olympics.
Men’s and women’s tournaments are the two events which take place for the contest. FIFA-affiliated associations have the permissions to enter teams in the competition. There is no age restriction for women’s teams. Though, there is the the age limit for the men’s teams to limit under-23 players. Maximum three overage players have the permission to take participate in the team.
Brazil was the two-time reigning champion in the men’s division but was unable to advance, while Canada is the current champion in the women’s division.
